Final Thoughts: This show was very very good. Not one match was bad although the 4 Way was mediocre. It seemed as though as the show went on, the matches just got better and better. Bobby Fish impressed the hell out of me in his match with Hero. How he still doesn’t have a win in EVOLVE w/ their 6th show coming up this month is beyond me. I thought the Main Event was really good. Chuck Taylor really held his own against a world class guy like Castagnoli which is why I love Chuckie T. The only problem I had with this show is that there wasn’t that one great match to remember like EVOLVE 1 (Richards/Ibushi) & EVOLVE 2 (Hero/Hidaka). Even though I gave the same overall rating to EVOLVE 2, I would say this was the best show out of the first three. I would highly recommend you picking this show up.

Final Thoughts: I thought this show was solid from top to bottom. You had your share of fillers and decent matches but for the most part, the card got the job done. With 4 ***+ matches and the Main Event just awesome, this is a must for your collection!

NOTE: Don’t let the rating fool you. Most of the matches rated in the “**” range were incredibly fun, but just did not get enough time. It made sense to have a lot of matches and give them around 5-6 minutes to show off their talent b/c this was the very first show for EVOLVE. We got a great taste of what was to come and it was a VERY enjoyable show. This is one of the most easiest shows to sit through that I’ve seen in awhile.
