Final Thoughts: This is definitely the best show ROH had put on thus far in the year. Wasn’t impressed with the opener with some NWA scrubs. King/Richards was so good that it didn’t deserve to only go on 2nd on the show. Butcher/Stevens wasn’t as brutal as it should’ve been and was hard to sit through. Cassandro/Titus was good but since Cassandro broke his leg during the match, the finish was rushed. Cabana/Generico & Steen/Corino was an okay match but I felt as though the aftermath was more entertaining than the match itself. Tag Team title match was great but got way too much time and seemed to drag on. I can honestly say that Black/Aries/Strong is the best Triple Threat match I’ve ever seen (Haven’t seen AJ/Joe/Daniels from Unbreakable). I loved how ROH built all 3 really strong and it took about 25 minutes for the first elimination. That match is definitely one of the best matches of the year. What puzzles me is why that God-awful Lucha Libre tag match was the main event. The crowd was clearly tired from the Triple Threat and there was way too much going on in the match. Definitely buy this DVD for some great wrestling.

  1. the Lucha Tag was NOT supposed to be the main event, but the Lucha guys arrived during the entrances for the World Title Match, since ROH was trying to establish the Charlotte market they had help from a local lucha promoter so they felt, they should put the match on anyways out of respect kind of thing

one of the guys didn’t show up at all can’t remember who it was right now tho but Magno was originally booked against Cassandro instead of Titus
