Kurt Angle© vs. Yuji Nagata (IWGP Championship) – ***1/2

Final Thoughts: TNA surprisingly did a very good job with this DVD. I say surprisingly because usually TNA gets lazy and puts 0 effort into their DVDs. TNA documented the Japanese experience very well. You had interviews with various guys before the show, a look into the culture of Japan, and interviews from the post-show press conference. As for the show itself, I could’ve been better, card wise and quality wise. Instead of having a match like Abyss/Nakanishi that was a complete waste of time, TNA should’ve flown out some of their X-Division stars and had them go up against a bunch of New Japan’s Junior Heavyweights in a Battle Royal-type match. The Tag Team title match was a complete botch-fest. Why Tomko & Bernard (aka Albert/A-Train) were tag team champions was beyond me. The 8 man tag, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title match, and the main event were all very good matches. I think this was a 1 hour special on Spike so if this was on PPV, this show would’ve been much better. I did like this DVD and it was relatively easy to sit through. I would recommend this DVD.

Hey IWGP Tag title wasn’t that bad, it was good for whats its worth.

Also Tomko & Bernard were good tag champs your just not use to seeing them in a non mainstream wrestling match.
